(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 18 - Stellantis topped car sales in Europe
in October, sector sources said Thursday.
The Italo-Franco-US carmaker sold 165,866 vehicles, ahead of
Volkswagen with 165,309.
Stellantis sales were 31.6% down on the same month in 2020.
Its market share fell from 21.5% to 20.8%.
In the first 10 months of the year the group sold 2,029,330
vehicles, up 3.2% on the same period in 2020.
Its 10-month market share rose from 20.3% to 20.4%.
European car sales in general fell 29.3% in October. (ANSA).
