(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 31 - The Italian economy grew by 6.5% in
2021, ISTAT said Monday.
The acquired GDP rise for 2022 is 2.4%, the national statistics
agency said.
The data are seasonally corrected and adjusted for more working
days with respect to 2020, when the economy collapsed by 8.9%
due to COVID-19.
In the last quarter of last year GDP rose 0.6% on the previous
quarter and was up 6.4% on an annual basis, above expectations
and forecasts. (ANSA).
