Lamborghini posts record-breaking 2023, 10,000+ deliveries

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 21 - Automobili Lamborghini posted a record 2023 with turnover up 12.1% over the previous year at 2. 66 billion euro and the number of vehicles sold globally breaking the 10,000 barrier to reach 10,112 for the first time, the Italian supercar maker said on Thursday.
    Operating profit stood at 723 million euro with a gross operating margin of 27.22%, it added.
    The operating margin has been growing steadily since 2017.
    The order portfolio covers the whole of 2024 and part of 2025, allowing consolidation also in terms of sustainability with implementation of the second phase of the Direction Cor Taur strategy envisaging, among other things, a 40% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030 in the entire Lamborghini production and supply chain, as well as for the cars on the road.
    Lamborghini said distribution remains even, with growth in the European, Asian and African markets and good performance in the USA and Pacific. (ANSA).
