(ANSA) - ROME, APR 30 - Italy's GDP increased by 0.3% in the
first quarter of 2024 with respect to the previous three months,
according to a preliminary estimate released by Istat on
Tuesday.
The national statistics agency said this was an acceleration
from the 0.1% growth registered in the fourth quarter of 2024, a
figure revised down from the 0.2% it had given in its previous
estimate.
It said Italy's GDP was up 0.6% with respect to the first
quarter of 2023. (ANSA).
