(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 8 - Italian taxi drivers on Wednesday
announced a nationwide strike on May 21 after failing to get
assurances on a range of issues from Business and Made in Italy
Minister Adolofo Urso.
The announcement came after a meeting with Urso on the issuing
of implementing decrees, including the regulation of digital
platforms.
The strike will be accompanied by a large demo in Rome, said the
drivers' unions.
The industrial action was announced by Unica CGIL, Fast, Ugl,
Uti, Tam, Claai Unione artigiani, Satam, Or.s.a. taxi, Uritaxi,
Atlt, Ati taxi, Sitan/Atn, Usb taxi, Unimpresa, Federtaxi cisal.
