(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 30 - April saw the sixth straight monthly
drop in industrial production prices, Istat said Thursday.
Prices fell 0.9% month-on-month and 5.9% year-on-year, said the
stats agency.
This annual drop, however, was lower than March's 9.6%.
The main contributors to the falls were gas and electricity
supplies.
Net of the energy component, prices showed a slight rise, said
Istat. (ANSA).
