Stellantis sales down 13.9% in Italy in May

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 3 - Stellantis registered 42,334 cars in Italy in May, 13.9% less than in the same month of 2023.
    Market share was down from 32.9% to 30.3%, said the Italo-American-French carmaker.
    In the first five months of the year, the group's deliveries totalled 235,383, down 0.3% on the same period last year, with share dropping from 33.6% to 32.4%.
    The car market in Italy was down 6.6 per cent in May compared to the same month in 2023: registrations - according to data from the Ministry of Transport - totalled 139,581.
    In the first five months of the year, 726,311 cars were sold, 3.45 per cent more than in the same period last year. (ANSA).
