Industrial production -1% mt-on-mt, -2.9% yr-on-yr in April

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 10 - In April 2024, Italy's seasonally adjusted index of industrial production fell by 1.0% compared to March, marking the second consecutive decline, Istat said Monday.
    Net of calendar effects, in April 2024 the overall index recorded a year-on-year decline of 2.9% (there were 20 calendar working days compared to 18 in April 2023), said the stats agency.
    In the February-April period, on average, there was a 1.3% drop in the production level compared to the previous three months said Istat. (ANSA).
