Stellantis -6.9% registrations in Europe in May

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 20 - Stellantis registered 158,389 cars in May in the EU, EFTA countries and the UK, 6.9% less than in the same month in 2023.
    The market share is down from 18.1% to 17.4%.
    In the first five months of the year, the group registered 834,973 cars, 0.5% more than in the same period of 2023 with the market share at 18.2% compared to 18.9%.
    In May, 1,092,901 cars were registered in the EU plus Efta and the UK, 2.6 per cent less than in the same month of 2023. In the first five months of 2024, 5,569,024 cars were sold, up 4.6 per cent on the same period last year. The figures are from Acea, the association of European manufacturers. (ANSA).
