Italy set to order 550 German tanks

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 3 - Italy is set to order over 550 panzer tanks from German manufacturer Rheinmetall, German newspaper Handelsblatt said Wednesday.
    This would be the largest order of armoured vehicles in the history of the arms company.
    According to the Hb website, the Italian state wants to order Panther and Lynx type panzers.
    "The Rhinelanders are cooperating in this with (Italian defence giant) Leonardo," it said. (ANSA).
