(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 8 - Italian firms' expectations about the
economic situation deteriorated slightly in the second quarter
of 2024, according to a Bank of Italy survey conducted between
May 20 and June 10.
The central bank added that, despite the slight downturn, over
two-thirds of companies saw the situation as stable.
It said firms in the services and construction industries still
expect demand to be positive, but industry companies see a drop.
