(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 10 - A ban on short rentals in the
UNESCO-listed historic centre of Florence has lapsed, the
regional administrative court (TAR) of Tuscany said Wednesday.
The ban was introduced to stem the tide of historic central
properties being turned into Airbnbs.
The TAR rejected an appeal from the city of Florence that would
have extended the ban.
The court said it had already been excluded from the municipal
operational plan. (ANSA).
