(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 10 - Italian industrial production
returned to growth in May after two months of cyclical declines,
Istat said Wednesday.
The stats agency said that the seasonally adjusted index
increased by 0.
Compared to May 2023, the overall index shows a trend decrease
of 3.3% net of calendar effects.
The 'positive' cyclical dynamics extended to almost all sectors,
with the exception of capital goods.
However, the average of the last three months still shows an
overall downward trend,' the statistics office commented.
