(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 9 - In June 2024, a slight cyclical growth
is estimated for exports (+0.5%), which, however, on an annual
basis, fell by 6.
In the second quarter of 2024, compared to the previous quarter,
exports were stationary while imports grew by 1.1%.
The year-on-year decrease particularly affected Germany (-8.7%),
France (-8.1%), the USA (-5.4%) and Switzerland (-7.8%).
Among the sectors contributing most to the Italian year-on-year
decline were: motor vehicles (-21.5%), leather goods (-15.5%),
sporting goods, games, musical instruments, jewellery, medical
instruments (-14%), and refined petroleum products (-19.3%).
