(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 12 - Italy saw the best increase in real
household income in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation
and Development (OECD) in the first quarter of this year, the
Paris based group of 37 countries said Monday.
Real household income per capita in OECD countries increased by
0.
"All G7 economies recorded an increase.
"Italy saw the strongest increase (3.4 per cent), driven by a
rise in compensation of employees and social transfers in kind,
reversing the decline recorded in the previous quarter."
In the last quarter of 2023, against growth in OECD countries of
0.5 per cent, the Italian figure was down 0.4 per cent. (ANSA).
