(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 2 - Over 1.3 million Italian households
are to get a 500-euro 'social card' benefit from the government
as of September 9th, the farm ministry said Monday.
From Monday 9 September the government will distribute the new
'Dedicated to You' card worth 500 euros per household for
groceries, fuel or local-transport season tickets, announced the
Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry.
The beneficiaries will be 1,330,000 households, with an ISEE
(means test) income of less than 15,000 euros a year.
The card can be collected at post offices after receiving the
communication from the municipality of residence. Citizens
benefiting from other public contributions are excluded.
"From the Meloni government a concrete help," said Farm Minister
Francesco Lollobrigida. (ANSA).
