(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - The share of net imports of energy
products compared to gross energy availability, an indicator of
Italy's degree of dependence on foreign countries, fell from
79.2% in 2022 to 74.
Electricity production from thermoelectric power fell by 19.3%
(although it continues to cover 55% of demand), while production
from renewables increased: +38.7% hydroelectric, +11.1% wind and
photovoltaic, the report said. (ANSA).
