Tax burden up 0.7% to 41.3% Q2

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 4 - The Italian tax burden in the second quarter was equal to 41.3%, up 0. 7 percentage points compared to the same period of last year, Istat said Friday.
    In the same period, the stats agency reported, the net indebtedness of public administrations in relation to GDP was equal to -3.4% (-5% in the same quarter of 2023).
    The primary balance of the public administration (indebtedness net of interest expenses) was positive for the first time since the fourth quarter of 2019, with an incidence on GDP of 1.1% (-0.8% in the second quarter of 2023). (ANSA).
