(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 12 - Italy's engineering and metal workers
are set to stage protests, including a one-day strike, after the
breakdown of talks between the Fiom, Fim and Uilm unions
representing them and Federmeccanica-Assistal employers
association over the renewal of their collective contract for
the 2024-27 period, sources said on Tuesday.
The protests will also include worker assemblies, working to
rule and the refusal to do overtime, the sources said,
explaining that there were major differences over salary
demands.
