Stellantis Chairman waiting for talks with business min to end

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 3 - The president of the Lower House's productive activities committee Alberto Gusmeroli said Tuesday that Stellantis Chairman John Elkann has knocked back a call for him to report to parliament on the state of the company after Carlos Tavares quit as CEO of the Italian-French-American carmaker.
    "I had a telephone conversation with John Elkann in response to my renewed request for a hearing," said Gusmeroli.
    "He thanked me for the attention that Parliament continues to pay to the automotive sector and to Stellantis.
    "But he said that, at this stage, he was waiting for the closure of the talks with the Business and Made in Italy Ministry.
    'It will be possible to arrange moment of institutional discussion later, as also requested by the motions presented in Parliament". (ANSA).
