(ANSA) - Rome, April 9 - An Italian philosopher who was jailed for nine years on a Fascist-era anti-gay law has died aged 92.
Aldo Braibanti was convicted in 1968 after a complaint from his partner's father, who later had his son sectioned and treated with electroconvulsive therapy to rid him of his homosexuality.
The law which punished Braibanti, making it a crime to lead innocent or unwary people "morally" astray, was repealed in 1981.
