(ANSA) - Rome, November 12 - Alessandro Criscuolo was elected president of the Constitutional Court Wednesday with eight votes. He joins vice-presidents Marta Cartadia and Giorgio Lattanzi and will be a member of the court for the next three years.
Criscuolo was first elected as a constitutional judge on October 28, 2008 and swore his oath of office on November 11 2008. His mandate will expire on November 11, 2017, making his tenure longer than those of some predecessors.
