(ANSA) - Bergamo, January 28 - A pizza maker was convicted
Wednesday of biting a chunk out of a customer's ear after a row.
The pizzaiolo, 24, was given a one-year suspended sentence
for the February 2012 incident near the northern city of
Bergamo.
"He offended me", the convicted man said of the 32-year-old
Albanian-born client.
The pizza maker was ordered to pay his victim 10,000 euros
to pay for his reconstructive surgery.
