(ANSA) - Turin, October 29 - An Italo-Albanian gang used
small tourist aircraft to bring drugs from Albania to Italy,
police said Thursday after arresting seven people and seizing
almost 500 kg of marijuana with a street value of more than five
million euros.
The gang was said to be one of the largest Italo-Albanian
crime organisations ever smashed.
The planes landed at provincial airstrips, police said.
