Wheelchair-bound pensioner murdered

(ANSA) - Grosseto, December 7 - A wheelchair-bound pensioner was found dead at home with his head caved in, Carabinieri police said Monday.
    Relatives found Antonio Tucci, 71, dead with blunt force trauma to the head in his flat in the village of Castel del Piano in Grosseto province. Police are searching the area for the murder weapon.
    Tucci may have been beaten to death because he resisted or recognized his assailants during a robbery gone wrong, police said.
