(ANSA) - Rome, February 15 - The Italian judiciary must clean
up its act so that Italy can become "a normal country," Northern
League leader Matteo Salvini said after being placed under
investigation for allegedly insulting the magistrature Monday.
Salvini said there were "many magistrates who do their job very
well," citing anti-mafia prosecutors, but added there were those
who "work a lot less, engage in politics, probe in one way only
and release dangerous criminals in 24 hours".
