Extreme poverty rising in Italy

(ANSA) - Rome, November 29 - Extreme poverty is rising in Italy, a report out Tuesday said. "The Renzi government has banked everything on growth and employment" and has linked improving social exclusion "solely to economic policies", cutting the impact of "good welfare policies", said the Global Rights report by the Associazione Società InFormazione, promoted by Italy's largest and most left-wing trade union, CGIL.
