Police save 3 kids, mother from car fire

(ANSA) - Caserta, May 17 - Three children and their mother were saved on Wednesday afternoon by police in Aversa, near Caserta, after smoke began issuing from their Fiat 600 and it subsequently burst into flames. One of the children was 16 months old. All were pulled out shortly before the car exploded. The mother and her children were taken to hospital, but only one suffered from minor smoke intoxication.
