(ANSA) - Aosta, July 18 - Two mountain climbers died
Wednesday after falling some 1,300 metres off the south face of
the Matterhorn in Italy, sources said.
The accident happened at around noon at a height of some
4,400 metres, they said.
A witness saw them fall and alerted the Val d'Aosta mountain
rescue service which recovered the bodies and took them to
Breuil-Cervinia.
