(ANSA) - Rome, February 19 - Rome's Ciampino airport is operational again after a fire prompted officials to evacuate passengers on Tuesday. Some flights were diverted to Rome's Fiumicino airport, with the passengers affected transferred by bus, after smoke was detected due to a fire in storage space under a duty-free area.
Firefighters quickly put out the fire.
