(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 14 - A molotov cocktail was found outside
the local office of Italy's biggest and most leftwing trade
union federation CGIL in the Marche town of Jesi on Wednesday.
The incendiary device caused a small fire which blackened a wall
next to a gate, local sources said.
A local resident found it and put out the fire.
CGIL said there had been no harm to persons or property.
DIGOS security police from Ancona are investigating.
Last Saturday CGIL's HQ in Rome was ransacked by a mob led by
neo-Fascist group Forza Nuova (FN) during a protest against the
government making the Green Pass health passport obligatory in
workplaces from tomorrow.
The incident spurred calls for FN and other neo-Fascist groups
to be dissolved, and a counter-proposal from rightwing parties
that all subversive groups should be dissolved, on left and
right. (ANSA).
