(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 14 - Two guards were hurt in a prison riot
at Santa Maria Capua Vetere near Naples on Tuesday, the SAPPE
warders' union said.
Inmates rioted after getting the news that one of them had
tested positive for COVID-19, the union said.
They reportedly wrecked their section of the jail and attacked
the two officers, who sustained slight injuries. (ANSA).
