(ANSA) - ROME, APR 21 - There have been 75,020 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 166 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 99,848 new cases and 205 more victims
Wednesday.
Some 446,180 more tests have been done, compared to 610,600
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is up from 16.3% to 16.8%.
Intensive care cases are up two to 415 and hospital admissions
up 24 to 10,231.
The currently positive are 1,222,813, up 15,913 on Wednesday.
The recovered and discharged are 14,549,360, up 59,916 on
Wednesday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 15,934,437,
and the death toll 162,264. (ANSA).
