(ANSA) - ROME, APR 22 - President Sergio Mattarella on Friday
pointed out that health is among the spheres in which gender
inequality has a major negative impact.
"Gender differences are also manifest in health care," the head
of State said in his message for national women's health day.
"The history of clinical studies bears witness to a low level of
involvement of women in the experimental phase, with effects on
results.
"The pathologies that hit women are among those for which
screening and early diagnosis are even more essential". (ANSA).
