(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 23 - There have been 56,166 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 75 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 53,905 new cases and 50 more victims Wednesday.
Some 248,042 more test have been done, compared to 246,512
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is up from 21.8% to 22.6%.
Intensive care cases are steady at 216 and hospital admissions
up 117 to 5,064.
The currently positive are 652,572, up 27,559 on Wednesday.
The recovered and discharged are 17,251,095, up 29,798 on
Wednesday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 18,071,634,
and the death toll 167,967. (ANSA).
