Historic Rai3 editor Guglielmi dies

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 11 - Angelo Guglielmo, the historic editor of State broadcaster RAI's most left-leaning channel Rai3, died overnight at the age of 93, his family said.
    Born in Arona near Novara on April 2 1929, Guglielmo was a literary critic, president of the Istituto Luce cinema institute, and Bologna culture councillor as well as a distinguished leader writer and prolific writer.
    He joined RAI in 1955 and headed Rai3 from 1987 to 1994, launching historic shows like Samarcanda, Blob, Quelli che il calcio, Avanzi, and Chi l'ha visto?, and hosts like Michele Santoro, Serena Dandini, Fabio Fazio, and Piero Chiambretti.
