(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 10 - The climate crisis has grave health
risks, Health Minister Roberto Speranza said after a meeting
with G7 counterparts Wednesday.
"It emerged at today's G7 of health ministers how close the link
is between health and the environment," Speranza said on
Facebook.
"The climate emergency of the last few weeks has consequences on
health that cannot be underestimated.
"We must work together at an international level to address this
great global challenge."
Speranza said the G7, meeting at the behest of the German duty
presidency in the presence of European health Commissioner
Stella Kyriakides, provided updated information on the COVID-19
pandemic and the impact of recent heatwaves ion the health of
