(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 15 - The Twitter profile of the Ecological
Transition Ministry was hacked overnight in what experts think
was part of an attempted cyber scam.
The hackers changed the photo of the profile, inserting that of
Vitalik Buterin, the Russian-born Canadian founder of
crypto-currency provider Ethereum.
There was also a tweet promising the free distribution of
crypto-currency.
The photo of Buterin, who had nothing to do with the cyber
attack, was removed from the profile on Thursday. (ANSA).
