(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 11 - MOnday's missile attacks by Russia on
Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities raise Moscow's responsibility in
the Ukraine war, outgoing Premier Mario Draghi told President
Volodymyr Zelensky over the telephone Tuesday, according to the
premier's office.
The pair had the conversation in view of Tuesday's G7 summit,
Palazzo Chigi said.
"The talks focused on the latest, grave developments in the
situation on the ground with particular regard to the missile
attacks carried out by Russian forces against Kyiv and other
Ukrainian cities," it said.
"Premier Draghi condemned the unaccrptable nature of these
brutal attacks, which further deepen the Russian responsibility,
and confirmed Italy's closeness to the Ukrainian authorities and
