(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 14 - Two Italians were hurt after entering
a Rio favela or shanty-town by mistake Friday, the CBN radio
station reported.
The two have been moved to the Evando Freire municipal
hospital, it said.
They were with other people in a car that inadvertently entered
the Manguinhos community in the northern part of the Brazilian
metropolis, where they were greeted by small arms fire, the
media reported on police reports.
The group was returning from a party in another part of the
city, at dawn Friday, when the attack happened, according to the
reports. (ANSA).
