(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 28 - Premier Giorgia Meloni's COVID-19
strategy has failed, former health minister Roberto Speranza
said Wednesday.
Speaking amid fears of a fresh virus upsurge from China, the
leftwing MP said "Meloni's strategy of pretending that COVID no
longer exists and that all in all you can do without vaccines
has failed, I think".
Speranza, leader of the small left-wing Article One party, was
speaking with ANSA outside the parliament building,
Montecitorio. (ANSA).
