(ANSA) - ROME, APR 19 - Three people including one woman were
arrested Wednesday in connection with the disappearance near
Salerno in March last year of a 29-year-old Milanese woman,
Marzia Capezzuti, whose presumed remains were found in a a
cottage in Santa Tecla, in the municipality of Montecorvino
Pugliano near Salerno, last October.
Carabinieri from Salerno's Nucleo Investigativo executed
pre-trial detention orders issued, one by the Preliminary
Investigations Judge (GIP) of the Ordinary Court and the other
by the Juvenile Court of Salerno, at the request of the
respective Public Prosecutors' Offices, against the three
unnamed people.
The warrant recipients, including the woman, are accused, for
various reasons, of ill-treatment, torture and murder in the
death of Capezzuti, whose disappearance had long remained a
mystery. (ANSA).
