(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 17 - Three people were rescued on
Wednesday from the remains of a farmhouse in Livergnano in the
province of Bologna that collapsed after being hit by a landside
triggered by extreme weather in the region.
One of the people reportedly sustained mild bruising while the
other two were unharmed.
"In the area the situation is tragic," said the local mayor
Franca Filippini.
"The Zena brook has flooded and the whole area is full of
landslides. Yesterday we evacuated several people in Rastignano
and in the Zena valley, and there are people stuck in their
homes in Botteghino who firefighters are trying to evacuate,"
