(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 18 - Robbers got away with around 250,000
euros worth of valuables in a burglary at the Italian home of
Brazilian Formula One great Emerson Fittipaldi, Il Corriere
della Sera reported in its Brescia edition on Tuesday.
The 76-year-old two-time world champion was not at his home at
Soiano, in the province of Brescia, at the time of the burglary,
the daily said.
It said gold objects and Rolex watches were among the goods that
were stolen.
Carabinieri police based in the town of Salò are investigating
the case.
Fittipaldi is not the only former F1 big name to reside in the
province of Brescia.
