Zaki, 'Today is a happy day' says Amnesty

(see related) (ANSA) - ROME, JUL 19 - "If yesterday was a catastrophic day, today is a day of happiness," said Amnesty International Italia on learning of the presidential pardon granted to Patrick Zaki in Egypt on Wednesday.
    "It is important for Patrick to be free again. If this measure does not provide for it, we hope that the travel ban will also be lifted," said Amnesty International Italia spokesperson Riccardo Noury. (ANSA).
