(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 20 - A heat storm will hit Italy from
Sunday and for five days, especially in central and northern
Italy, with record temperatures even in the high mountains,
forecasters said.
A red heat alert is in force Sunday for eight cities: Rome,
Florence, Bologna, Perugia, Brescia, Bolzano, Latina and Rieti.
This means even the young and fit are advised to stay out of the
sun from 10 to six.
A yellow alert for bad weather is instead in force in Calabria,
Basilicata and Sicily, where heat-breaking storms are expected.
