(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 15 - Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro said
Sunday that the city was suspending the use of electric buses
operated by the 'La Linea' company after one crashed in its
Mestre district on Saturday, injuring 15 people, after a vehicle
of the same type plunged from an overpass on October 3 in a
disaster in which 21 people died.
Brugnaro stressed that this was a precautionary measure while
checks are run on this type of bus.
Investigators are working to establish the cause of both
accidents. (ANSA).
