Two people dead after car plunges into Lake Como

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 7 - A 45-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man are dead after the vehicle they were in plunged into Lake Como late on Saturday.
    The car, a Mercedes SUV, was in the car park of Villa Geno, overlooking the lake, according to an eye witness.
    It was a few metres from a railing and went forward, breaking through the barrier and dropping about 10 metres into the water.
    The bodies were recovered early on Sunday.
    A woman drowned in a similar accident at Lake Como on Tuesday.
