(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 22 - An eight-month-old pitbull called
Roky got on a train on his own at the weekend and took a trip to
Venice, local newspapers reported on Monday.
The dog boarded the train at Portogruaro, in eastern Veneto,
took a seat and enjoyed the ride looking out of the window to
the surprise of passengers, some of whom took photos and posted
them on social media.
According to the reports, the dog's owner had trained Roky to
get on public transport alone as a way to impress women.
Railway police were waiting for the Roky when he arrived at
Venice's Santa Lucia station and they took him to a dog pound in
the Mestre district, from where his owner came to pick him up.
