(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 4 - The 13-year-old girl raped last
Tuesday in the public toilets of the Villa Bellini in Catania
has identified the two underage alleged perpetrators of the
rape, police said Sunday.
The identification took place after a US-style line up of the
seven suspected members of the gang.
On the other hand, the girl was unable to identify the other
five allegedly part of the group, claiming she had not seen
their faces and did not want to accuse innocent people.
But the five were identified by the 13-year-old girl's
17-year-old boyfriend who was allegedly forced to witness the
rape while being held still.
One of the alleged gang also reportedly admitted taking part in
the incident in the eastern Sicilian coastal city.
The victim allegedly told her rapists "I implore you, I beg you,
do not hurt me, let me go," according to what she reportedly
told police. (ANSA).
